While more and more companies have embraced environmental sustainability as a management imperative, it is also clear that even more comprehensive strategies and actions will be required if business is to reach its full potential with respect to global and local environmental challenges. RIBO implements and maintains an Environmental Management System to continually improve its environmental management and ultimately to reduce the environmental impacts of its operations, activities, products, and services.
- Determine how to fulfill the requirements of the Standard by identifying materials, processes, products and that cause or may cause pollution and by implementing measures to avoid, reduce or control pollution where technically and economically viable.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice that relate to the Organization's environmental aspects. To achieve and maintain conformance, we develop and maintain a management system for identifying relevant requirements and for monitoring performance of related activities.
- Communicate this Environmental Management System policy to all persons working for or on behalf of the Organization.
With our environmental protection program we have put into place measures to reduce waste, optimize the way we use our raw materials, increase waste separation and the recycling rate, reduce the volume of less environmentally-friendly substances used, reduce energy requirements, reduce emissions, enhance the environmental awareness of our workforce and contractual partners, incorporate the aspect of environmental protection into the product development process, bring industrial safety and health protection into line with current technology standards and the latest knowledge.
Protection of the environment is an overall approach that should take into account not only the efficiency of the finished product, but also the efficiency of all its development and production phases. We place great value on active environmental protection and on providing safe and ergonomic work-stations for our employees. We have incorporated quality and environmental protection, along with health and work safety, into an integrated management system. Our guiding principles for protecting the environment are set out in our Management System, and every employee at our company works to this System.
